Mediate
in industrial disputes affecting large segment
of industries/ workmen or other
industrial disputes of all India nature as Conciliation Officer under I.D.Act for bringing about amicable settlement.

Monitor
the Industrial Relations situation in the state of Chhattisgarh, both in
Central and State Sphere and keep the CLC(C), New Delhi and the Central
Government informed about important developments/incidents from time to time.

Perform
quasi judicial functions under various labour laws as

enforcement of various labour laws, awards, settlements etc. in Central Sphere.

of the Ministry of Labour & Employment in various court cases and went petitions
arising out of enforcement of labour laws.

Promote
use of Hindi as Rajbhasha in day to day work in the
region.

Function
as Central Public Information Officer in respect of Raipur Region under the
Right to Information Act, 2005.

Function
as the Convener Member of the sub Committee as and
when constituted by the DG(LW) to investigate into and report on the
desirability of prohibiting employment of contract labour
in industries.
v
Mediate

into complaints under labour laws, awards,
settlements and other conditions of service and take
appropriate remedial action.

as Controlling Authority under P.G.Act, 1972;
Authority under E.R.Act, 1976; Licencing and Registering Officer under C.L.(R&A)
Act, 1970 and ISMW (RE&CS) Act; Registering Officer under BOCW (RE &
CS) Act, 1996 and Inspector under various labour
laws.

industrial relations situation within their respective jurisdiction and carry
out other functions as entrusted from time to time including reporting to the
Govt. and superiors on various matters relating to labour
administration.

supervise the work of LEOs(C) in his jurisdiction.
